Head toward the Bird Sanctuary at Crab Bank Island, home to thousands of nesting shorebirds including threatened species of Wilsons Plover and Eastern Brown Pelicans. Frequented by dolphin and sometimes manatee, this is a thrilling wildlife paddle. On the shallow Mount Pleasant side of Crab Bank you can often see dolphins, jumping mullet fish and an occasional manatee.
