Casino Hopping North to Center. Begin your day at the north end of the strip at 10am with All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast Buffet at the Riviera, one of Las Vegas' oldest and most prestigious casinos. Head across the street to Circus Circus for the free circus act. Moving south on Las Vegas Boulevard, continue to The Venetian where you can take a Gondola Ride, visit Madame Trussauds Wax Museum, take a walk around the Grand Canal Shops (click here for coupon!) and exit back down toward the main entrance to have a fabulous Italian gelato. Head across the street to Treasure Island for the infamous Pirate Battle, then onto the Mirage to view the erupting Volcano, visit the Tropical Rainforest, Siegfried & Roy' White Lion Habitat and the Dolphin Habitat. Continue South to Caesars Palace for the Magical Empire Tour, the Forum Shops (click here for coupon!) and the Lost City of Atlantis Fountain Festival. Have lunch at one of the many Forum Shops restaurants. Head further south to Bellagio and enjoy the Bellagio Fountains, the visit the Conservancy and the $300 million art collection at the Guggenheim. If you are a car lover then head back across the street to the Imperial Palace Auto Collection. By this time you may be exhausted, so zip back to your hotel, have a swim and get ready for the night! Dine at Rio's Village Seafood Buffet. An All-You-Can-Eat Seafood Buffet voted the best in Vegas and features all the lobster you can eat! Then take in a show! Before or after the show see the Masquerade in the Sky (showing till midnight). If you still have some energy left, the Rio has the hottest nightclubs in Vegas, like the Club Rio, the Voodoo Lounge, or you can hang out and have a drink and enjoy Rio's dancing and singing cocktail waiters and waitress.

Casino Hopping South to Center. Begin your day at the south end of Las Vegas Boulevard at Mandalay Bay's House of Blues for breakfast, then (if you want to pay the price) you can visit the Shark Reef to view 100 species of sharks and fish (open 10am to 11pm, $13.95 adults, $9.99 child) then head north to the Luxor. Catch the interactive shows "In Search of the Obelisk", "Luxor Live", or "The Theater of Time". Visit King Tut's Tomb and ride the The Nile River Ride which runs daily. Go next door to Excalibur for the Dragon Battle between the dragon and Merlin the Magician in the moat at the Excalibur. Then visit the Magic Motion Film Ride. Continue north to New York New York for one of the best roller coasters in Vegas and lunch in one of the many restaurants at the food court. Cross the street to MGM Grand for a great opportunity to observe and experience the majestic King of Beasts close up and in person at the resort's Lion Habitat. You can hop a shuttle north to the Aladdin, take a stroll around the Desert Passage Shops (click here for coupon!). Then go next door to Paris for a ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower. In the evening, have dinner at Restaurante Italiano or Kristofers Steak House at the Riviera and then catch one or two of the fabulous Riviera Shows (click here for coupon). Casino Hopping North End. Begin your day at the very north end of Las Vegas Boulevard at the Las Vegas Hilton where you can visit Star Trek:The Experience. Head over to Holy Cow! Casino for a Free tour of their brewery. For lunch, go the the Stratosphere where you can get an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Lunch, Ride the Stratoblaster rides and see a show. In the late afternoon, just before dusk, head off to Freemont Street Experience and enjoy!

By now you should be sufficiently glitzed and casinoed out! If you have never seen the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas offers many great options to view it from helicopter, plane, or more traditional ways by bus. Hoover Dam

Hoover Dam - Only 30 miles south of Las Vegas is one of mans greatest architectural achievements. Still in operation since the 30's supplying electrical power to Nevada, Arizona and California, it is truly a wonder to see. Visitors can actually go into the depths of the dam and tour the inner workings. Or you can peer over the edge of the nearly 800 foot drop while standing in two time zones at once! A nearby museum shows movies and artifacts involving it's creation. The beautiful new visitors center, at the edge of the dam, opened in September 95 and ironically enough cost much more to build than the dam itself did 60 years ago.

Grand Canal Shops
Wind your way through the Grand Canal Shoppes to St. Mark's Square at the Venetian and see the "street performers" and "living statues". Go into the casino's main entrance and take the escalator up one level to get to the Shoppes. There is a "Gondolier March" through the Shoppes to St. Mark's Square at 9:30 am and 4 pm.
