DESA was founded as a family business by three brothers Mehmet,
Semih and Melih Çelet in 1972.
Skilled craftsmen and manufacturers of fine leather with a
meticulous attention to detail has been the foundation for
DESA's future. DESA's reputation spread quickly and outstanding
workmanship and high standards have become their hallmark. The
original small leather handbag collection has been expanded into
a wide range of handbags, attache cases, portfolios, small
leather goods, travel sets, leather garments and shoes. Today
DESA is one of the largest manufacturers of fine leather goods
in the world.
Our outstanding fine leather goods are produced through the use
of hand selected premium grade leathers.
Our products are the proof of our, attention to detail and
quality, resulting in ambitious, concepts combined with
functional design and expert craftsmanship. Classical elegance
accentuated by our modem designs creates fine leather goods
which are a personal and business statement of quality and
excellence. It is our intention to create and produce DESA
products which will be carried with pride and a pleasure to own.
