of Papua New Guinea, with the Karawari River only 300
feet (100 meters) below as your only way in or out. Guests can

of comfort in the midst of a thousand miles of
jungle." Robin Kinhead, Chicago Tribune.

Papua
New Guinea is home to some of the worlds' most
spectacular diving experiences. Located in the Pacific
Ocean it is said to have twice as many marine species
as the waters of the Red Sea, and up to five times as
many as the Caribbean. Black coral trees and
gorgonian fans beckon the diver to tarry longer under
the sea. The "Hole in the Wall" offers a
protected lagoon for the novice and the entrance to
"Dedo's drop-off" challenges the more
experienced diver.
- MALOLO

world of discovery and delight for snorkelers, divers
and those interested in marine ecology. You are based at

rooms, tennis court, dive facilities, restaurant, bar

lawns and gardens reaching down to the ocean. Malolo
Plantation Lodge has a dive shop and provides complete
dive services. Dives are a combination of land and boat
dives.

visibility and prolific fish life aboard a 50' timber
vessel. Fully air-conditioned, she can accommodate 6
guests in 3 twin berths, one with private ensuite, the
other two cabins using share facilities. A typical
itinerary takes divers for 4, 7 and 10-day trips along
