This classic
bar tour takes revelers into the heart of Greenwich Village and
explores the spiritual home of New York City where immigrants,
artists, and students combine to form a classic bohemian
culture. Follow the trail of the Beat generation and 1960s
folk-rock history when you plunge into the heart of Greenwich
Village. Enjoy the bohemian atmosphere of this vibrant part of
town, where generations of artists and writers have challenged
comfortable conservative conventions. Visit the bars that
inspired Jack Kerouac. Drink at the watering holes where he and
friends like poet Allen Ginsberg created a movement that changed
the world. Live rock history on world famous Bleecker Street.
With your guide you will visit four to five different pubs
during the evening and enjoy three complimentary domestic beers
along the way. You can easily walk from one bar to the other and
the total distance covered on the tour is about 1.4 miles (2.3
km).
