Most health risks in Las Vegas are related
to the heat - after all it is in the desert. It gets mighty hot so bring
your sunscreen with you (even if you think you will be inside all the
time). Drink lots of water -especially in Las Vegas where your alcohol
consumption may be higher and cause dehydration. Limit your sun exposure
to early morning and late afternoon.

Approximately half the visitors to Las Vegas
arrive by automobile. The principal highway is I-15, which connects
with southern California to the southwest and Utah to the northeast.
U.S. 93 (Boulder Highway and Fremont Street in Las Vegas) extends into
Arizona to the southeast, where it merges with I-40. U.S. 95 brings
traffic from northern California and Reno. When there's an opportunity
to fill up, drivers en route to Las Vegas should keep in mind that the
next gas station can be an hour away.
Las Vegas is an easy city to navigate, and most of the large
hotels and casinos are along the "Strip" called Las Vegas Boulevard.

Visitors in the casinos must
be at least 21 years of age with no exceptions. No Children can
enter the casino floor unless you are walking through the casino, on
the pathways, with your youngster in tow. As long as you're on the move,
you're OK. For families the off-strip casinos frequently provide free
child care.
No photographs can be taken inside the casino. No cell phones
can be used while in the Sports Book or while playing a live casino
game (black jack, roulette, etc.). There are lots more rules, but these
are most important for planning your trip.

Is there a shuttle service from the airport
to the Stratosphere hotel? Fred
Some hotels do have a shuttle service from the airport and even
to other hotels/casinos throughout Las Vegas. The Stratosphere does
not provide a shuttle from the airport to their hotel. The best deal

"Could you tell if any of the casinos
have RV hook-ups. We will be traveling to Vegas in the near future."
- Mickey
Las Vegas is a great town and I'm sure that you will
have a blast. My family stayed at the Circus Circus RV Park on the strip
and loved it! They have full hook ups and were able to accommodate our
large bus. The RV Park has it's own pool and we felt it was better than
the hotel pool because it get earlier sun in the morning. The only drawback
was that we had to provide our own towels (we borrowed them from the
hotel pool area!). They also have their own shop for drinks and stuff
and a game room for kids. You should book early as they do fill up fast!
