biking. Gateway Canyons has classic Colorado mountain bike
trails that rise and dip over the mountains, and more
technical riding made famous in nearby Moab, Utah. Mountain
bikes and cruisers for the flat roads are available for

Horseback Riding
The Stables at Gateway Canyons provide an
authentic introduction to the western horseback riding
experience. Our experienced guides will take you on an
exploration of the base of the Uncompahgre Plateau, the
surrounding picturesque desert and red rock canyons. Both

Fly Fishing
Whether you’ve never
wet a line or you’re an avid fisherman, we’ve got a fly rod
with your name on it. Forge the river on your own, or head
out on a guided fly fishing trip to Don’s Lake in the
LaSalle Mountains, where the catches of golden and rainbow
trout are always plentiful. If you're a first-timer, a
Colorado fly fishing guide will start your day at the
Adventure Center where first-timers will learn the basics of
fly casting, before heading out to catch your first fish!

Off-Road Jeep and ATV Touring
Access the
back-country and explore the area's countless off-road
trails - you can even drive to Moab on the famous John Brown
Trail. Or set out with our guides into the rugged wilderness
landscape to historic mining sites, Calamity Camp/Niche
Road, Sheep Creek, Land of the Dinosaurs and Sinbad Valley.
