This three-hour adventure explores the sensory evaluation of wine.
Offered throughout the year, the Essence Tour & Tasting
unveils the mysteries of aromatic essences commonly associated
with red and white wines, such as green apple, leather, peach,
smoke, pineapple and oak. The tour and tasting focus on the
influences of soil, climate, and the artful hand of the winemaker
in developing the nuances of Robert Mondavi wines. This tour is

Mondavi, Winegrowing Tour and Tasting
Designed for visitors who have already taken the Vineyard and
Winery tour, the Winegrowing Tour offers an in-depth education on
all aspects of winegrowing, including research and development in
viticulture, fermentation techniques and barrel aging. This three
to four hour tour also includes a sit-down tasting of selected
varietal wines paired with an assortment of fruits and cheeses. A

Country Film Festival
The Festival showcases the finest in Feature Films, Shorts,
Documentaries, Animation and Digital Films. Plus Special Food and
Wine Events. August 2-13 the 15th annual Wine Country Film Festival
will screen films outdoors alfresco at Jack London State Park in
Glen Ellen and at the Sebastiani Theatre in Sonoma. Seminars and
tributes to guest celebrities plus a wine maker dinner are planned.

section is July 19- 29 in Napa Valley at Sequoia Grove Vineyards in
