names of entertainers and celebrities from five genres. The names
range from Big-Bird to Alfred Hitchcock, from Lassie to John Lennon and
every type of celebrity in between. The five categories that are
represented are Music, Film, Live Theatre, Radio and Television.
Each star has a brass emblem below their name representing that
celebrity's category. The Walk of Fame lines both side of Hollywood
Boulevard from Gower to La Brea, and both sides of Vine Street, from Yucca

footprints of the stars. The Theatre opened with the debut of the
original, silent version of "King of Kings," in 1927. Since
that time, it has been the site of more Hollywood movie premiers than any
other theatre in the world. One of it's most memorable galas was the
world premiere of "The Wizard of Oz" in 1939, when over 10,000
spectators flocked to the beautiful theatre to catch a glimpse at the
wonders of music, dancing and Technicolor. A great spot for
traveler, photographer and movie-buff alike, you're sure to find your
